The Commons Initiative has reached a point where several important technical questions can no longer be advanced responsibly by more software simulation alone. The next meaningful Flux/Aurora milestone is a calibrated, low-energy physical falsification experiment with independent force and reaction-force measurement, synchronized environmental instrumentation, frozen analysis rules, sham/reversal controls, and eventually independent replication.
The software, reality-audit framework, one-million-trial synthetic false-positive study, validation manual, physical bench readiness package, calibration/uncertainty plan, blind-control protocol, procurement tiers, and CAL-00 exit criteria are now public and traceable in GitHub.
What is stopping the next physical milestone: access to calibrated instrumentation, low-energy bench/lab access, fixture fabrication, independent experimental review/replication, and the money or in-kind support required to obtain those things.
What support pays for: measurement quality, calibration, bench access, instrumentation, fixture materials, independent review, and the ability to run a decisive experiment whose result is useful whether it is positive or null. Funding does not purchase a desired scientific conclusion.

If you are a laboratory, university team, metrology specialist, aerospace/controls engineer, instrument manufacturer, funder, or technically qualified independent reviewer, in-kind access can be as valuable as cash. A calibrated instrument loan, bench time, fixture fabrication, measurement review, or blinded replication path can close a real blocker.
The broader purpose of The Commons Initiative is to develop systems, research, products, and governance structures that make human well-being, accountable technology, evidence, and long-term species flourishing the design target rather than an afterthought. The work is ambitious; the public record is intended to make it inspectable rather than merely inspirational.
This page is the shortest public route to the current state of The Commons Initiative. It is intentionally curated: implementation, testing, simulation, physical measurement, publication, and independent verification remain separate evidence states.

The map connects Mya P. Brown’s dated work on authority and accountability to the original Commons record, the Charter of Human Advancement, bounded permission, revocation, refusal, immutable audit, safe-mode recovery, and Maya Node. It also maps the Commons record against seven governance areas publicly identified by Dr. Thomas Ainsworth. It separates human-authored source records, published principles, paper-stage mechanisms, tested software components, legacy drafts, and unverified claims. It does not disclose private schematics or patent-sensitive mechanisms and does not imply endorsement or partnership.

Current evidence boundary: Flux is a software/metrology and falsification framework; physical propulsion remains unproven. Aurora remains prototype/simulation architecture rather than a flight-ready city-ship.
2026-09-14 research update — merged: PR #9 completed CI successfully and was merged to main. It adds the reproducible one-million-trial synthetic null-world reality audit and Aurora/Flux validation manual. The audit quantifies false-positive behavior under modeled ordinary artifact channels; it does not demonstrate propulsion.

2026-09-14 physical-readiness update — merged: PR #10 completed CI successfully and was merged to main. It adds a physical bench readiness matrix, calibration/uncertainty plan, blind-control protocol, low-energy procurement tiers, CAL-00 / Experiment Zero exit criteria, and a recursive next-action ladder.
Issue #11 is complete: the first CAL-00 force-range and uncertainty requirements are frozen before instrument selection. The current design target is at least ±100 µN range, combined standard uncertainty ≤1.0 µN, expanded uncertainty target ≤2.0 µN initially at k=2, minimum 100 samples/s force recording with 1000 samples/s preferred where appropriate, and a decisive-run saturation ceiling of 80% of calibrated usable range. These are measurement-system requirements, not predicted Flux thrust.

A green software test does not prove a physical claim. A simulation does not become an experiment because it is public. A partner relationship does not transfer ownership because it exists.
